Rotary
blade level controller, made by
FILSA, is the solution to control filling and unloading operations
of bulk material in a storage silo.
With those level controllers, equipment such as conveyor or elevator
will always start and stop at the right time!
Operation:
The
operation of these controllers is centered around a synchronous, slow
speed motor-gear unit.
The blades, operated by a shaft with twin support bearings and a
protective clutch.
When the product reaches the blade, and the blade finds
resistance to its rotation, the motor-gear unit rotates on its own axis,
actuating two micro switches; one of them disconnects the motor and the
other acts upon the control mechanisms, stopping or starting signaling
systems, conveyor belts, elevators, feeders, etc.
Once the blades are free of product, the motor-gear unit is
reconnected and the control signals are reversed.
Two
different models are available.
IRP-R model is equipped with a single blade and IR-180
model is equipped with 4 blades.
These models are offered in a wide range of operating voltages.
